Hi! I'm LouAnn David. I fell in love with the flower business while working at my hometown florist in Kansas as a teenager. I opened my first flower shop at the age of 22 and 4 years later, I sold it and moved to Ashland, Oregon, where in 1982, I opened Flower Tyme on the Plaza, now named Manzanita Home Flowers and Gifts. I can't tell you how fortunate I feel for having spent over 40 years doing what I love in a town that I adore. I am just as excited about floral design as I was as a teenager, and it is so fun finding the eclectic mix of merchandise that fills my shop. I have gathered a talented team to help our customers choose just the right flowers or the perfect gift. Manzanita Home Flowers and Gifts is located on the plaza in downtown Ashland.

Although this is a flower shop, I find myself gravitating here when I need a really special and unique gift. I like to walk into Manzanita sometimes even when I have no intention of buying anything because it is almost a healing experience just to wander through. It always smells wonderful and there are little water fountains placed here and there so you hear the sound of running water and the colors and shapes of the many gifts are exciting to see.
